 Oooh!! I'm the first to post a story up here!! I feel so special!! But anyhoo...this is kind of a children's story that I wrote a couple weeks back. I hope you all enjoy it!!
Tr. Crocodile and Mr. Muskrat Have Lunch
One day, out in a bog, a small muskrat was walking along the marshes near the crocodile’s home. He was going to visit his friend, the mole. The muskrat stopped a moment for lunch, since he had been walking all morning. Mr. Muskrat sat down on a rock with a plate-like leaf with bugs crawling around on it. As he picked up a green little bug, he thought he heard the sound of someone crying.
“Why, Mr. Crocodile, what is wrong? Why are you crying?” Mr. Muskrat asked.
Mr. Crocodile was surprised at the sudden conversation from the muskrat. Not knowing what else to say, he said, “I am sad.”
Mr. Crocodile knew he was lying since he had nothing at all to be sad about. He had just eaten a rather large meal, but was still a tad bit hungry. He continued to make his eyes water so the muskrat would think he really was crying.
“Whatever are you sad about? Today is a wonderful day!” Mr. Muskrat said happily.
“I am sad because I have nothing to ear, and no one to talk to.” Mr. Crocodile lied again.
“Well, I have more than enough bugs to eat, and I will stay to talk to you for a while. But I cannot stay for very long, because a friend is waiting for me on the other side of the bog.” Mr. Muskrat said.
“Oh, you would stay with me? What a nice thing to do! I will not make you say long. Come, sit here, close to my face so I can eat—I mean see you better.” Mr. Crocodile corrected himself.
Mr. Muskrat, you see, did not visit Mr. Mole every often so he hardly ever came this way and did not know that the crocodile was bad. After a moment or two of thinking, Mr. Muskrat sat down right in front of Mr. Crocodile’s mouth. He set his leaf down so that the bugs would crawl into Mr. Crocodile’s mouth. As the minutes passed, Mr. Crocodile and Mr. Muskrat talked about Mr. Muskrat’s friend, Mr. Mole. They talked about Mr. Mole’s home under the ground.
“Is it hard to get into Mr. Mole’s home?” Mr. Crocodile asked after swallowing a blue bug.
“No, not at all. He will let you in after you knock. He is a very nice mole. If you ever decide to visit him, tell him that Mr. Thadius Muskrat sent you.” Mr. T. Muskrat said matter-of-factly.
“I surely will.” Mr. Crocodile said.
“Well, I best be going soon. Mr. Mole was expecting me quite some time ago.” Mr. Muskrat said as he stood up.
“Mr. Muskrat, before you leave, I think a bug has crawled down into my throat. Would you be as so kind to crawl into my mouth and find it for me and then get it out?” Mr. Crocodile asked sadly.
“I surely will.” Mr. Muskrat said and crawled into Mr. Crocodile’s mouth.
A loud clash was heard, and Mr. Muskrat was never seen again after having lunch with Mr. Crocodile that day.

lol, i was gonna work on it earlier at school when i had time, but i never did have time. surprisingly. and whenever i had the smallest bit of time to write, i was thinking about something else. the joys of being a writer....

i know, tell me about it...but i'll tell ya what, i'll bring my notebook with me to dinner tonight, and i'll write on the way, and i'll write when i can during dinner. i'm going out tonight w/ a few peoples for dinner. but anyway...i will try to get it all done soon......i hope....
